“Need a powerful integration? Leave it with me”
Last month, we welcomed Vincent Boots to the Talent Peaks family. He will juggle between multiple teams within the organization in many dynamic projects. And though Vincent’s motto is: “Never stop learning”, but I’m quite sure we can all learn a lot from him as well. Let’s get to know Vincent a bit more.
What will be your main focus at Talent Peaks?
This is really cool! In my job, I will primarily focus on Integration and Architecture within the Salesforce Ecosystem. So I will be helping customers to optimize their business processes even if this means going beyond Salesforce by developing new features, fine tuning apps or integrating solutions.
Besides generic Salesforce Integration Consulting, I am also responsible for the implementation and service of the middleware platform we use to integrate the Salesforce app called Byner with other systems like for finance and payroll to create a fully integrated digital landscape.
Why did you choose Talent Peaks?
After five years with my last employer, for me it was time to start a new adventure. I already knew Talent Peaks because they worked on a few projects at my last employer’s. Working with the Talent Peaks consultants really excited me.
At Talent Peaks, it’s all about #doingcoolstuffwithcoolpeople. Working together as a team on great projects in which it’s all about making an impact for our customers. So I reached out to discuss the possibilities. And after several (late night) sessions with a.o. Joram, Frank and Rachel, we all were enthusiastic to get started.
Could you tell us something about your career path?
Already while I was studying I gained a lot of experience in different areas of the ICT such as Servicedesk employee, Network Administrator, System Administrator, Database Administrator, Developer. After I graduated, I started at an ICT Healthcare company where I learned to design and implement highly scalable mission critical infrastructures. In my last job I was responsible for the ICT department of the company on a technical and a management level.
What will you bring Talent Peaks?
Having a broad background via several roles in the ICT landscape, I know how to find solutions to complex problems by looking at things from different angles. Plus, I love to work hard and I aim to make a success out of every project.
Looking back on the first weeks?
Starting in Covid-19 time can be extra challenging to start a new job. A week before I started, I heard that my onboarding would be remote. To be honest, it feels a bit difficult to show how you can add value to a company if you are stuck at home everyday. But even stuck at home Talent Peaks feels like a real family”. They are really transparent and give you the opportunity to talk about(almost) everything. Almost right after my onboarding, I started working on a rock solid integration between Byner and AFAS to fully optimize the flows from front office to back office and finance.
Tell us one thing we really want to know about you?
I am a father of two girls of 1 and 4 years old. I am married to the girl I’ve known my whole life. We grew up together and already as little kids we were crazy about each other. And still are.
Vincent, great to have you on the team. We are looking forward to working on great projects and building impactful solutions for our customers together and have some fun on the way.
