Meet Kimberley Bertelkamp, senior Salesforce consultant

“Whatever you do, make it count”

Lately, there’s a new sound coming from our campsite in Utrecht: a sweet voice passionately singing along with André Hazes and other good old Amsterdam folk singers. No question about it. That’s Kimberley Bertelkamp, our cheerful Salesforce Specialist who joined Talent Peaks this summer.  Let’s properly introduce her.

So, you’re a big Salesforce fan?

15 years ago already, I started as a CRM Consultant for IBM. About 7 years later, I switched to one of the first Salesforce Implementation partners. That is where I got to know Salesforce and the love story started ;-).

I am a big fan of Salesforce because of the endless flexibility and solid out-of-the box possibilities the platform offers. You can deploy Salesforce in any way you want. Either basic with minor configurations for standard processes or completely customized and fully connected with various state-of-the-art solutions all built on the same platform.

Why work for Talent Peaks?

I love being a Salesforce implementation consultant. I get to help other companies to work as efficient as possible and deploy Salesforce so that it will optimally contribute to their business. Being a consultant at Talent Peaks means that I can collaborate in a small and flexible team of fun, driven and professional colleagues. Together, we work on a large variety of interesting projects for our customers.

What makes Talent Peaks stand out as an employer, is the pleasant and open culture, the short lines and the enthusiastic drive to do everything in our power to make impact for our customers. Because we work with a relatively small team, we can act fast and really make the change. And what I find specifically cool, is that there is plenty of room for pioneering. So as a team, we can pull out all our wits and resourcefulness to address challenges and come up with the best solutions for our customers.

What will be your role?

As a Salesforce consultant, it’s my mission to add value to the business, to improve and facilitate work so people can really experience the difference. I am a people person, I really want to understand what drives people, try to create a nice environment and get the best out of everyone.

My focus will be to empower the team and help our customers drive success and add value to the business. From the very first sales meetings, the design and implementation phase and the continuation after go-live. Together we can translate the customers’ business needs and make sure they get the most out of Salesforce for their organization.

Looking back on your first months?

I chose to come work for Talent Peaks because of the team. A a real energetic and fun set of colleagues who made me feel welcome from the very first moment. My first introduction with the team was on friday afternoon drinks & bites near our campsite in Eindhoven. Everyone was really nice, approached me for a chat and showed a genuine interest in me as a person. I immediately felt at ease.

My first months have been great and I already feel like a full-blown part of the team. I have been introduced to Talent Peaks’ customers and I’ve already been able to make impact on projects. It feels like I’m a Talent Peaker already for much longer. Even my own family already got the true Talent Peaks experience during the last family day. At home, they still talk about our DAF rally in the streets of Breda!

Kimberley, again welcome to the family! It’s great to have you on board. Have fun and eat your heart out with #doingcoolstuffwithcoolpeople!
