Jobs & Media Group (JMG) is active in the recruitment industry with a unique formula. They offer a hybrid recruitment model in which online job boards and recruitment services are combined with digital marketing services and innovative tech tools. All designed to build sustainable long term partnerships with talents and companies. JMG is growing fast. Currently over 250 people are working for JMG - varying from recruitment, digital marketing, talent sourcing, data, tech, IT and development professionals.

Making the perfect match
Recruitment is about making the perfect match and building long term relationships with talents and companies. JMG wants to help candidates get a clear view on who they are and what they see as their ideal career path.
At the same time, they help companies to engage with the right talent. They consult them in drawing up accurate and realistic talent profiles and challenge them to think out of the box. To find the best match fast, JMG also offers smart job marketing communication and supporting technology.
Sales and recruitment
Being a innovative recruitment company, JMG wants to be trailblazing in their customer and candidate approach. Tjibbe: “We were looking for a future proof CRM and ATS that would support our ambition. A solution with which our employees can efficiently collaborate and that offers us 360° insights into customers and candidates. So that we can really make a difference.
We executed a thorough selection process in which we evaluated different suppliers and different solutions. And that is how we came across Salesforce and their implementation partner Talent Peaks. Salesforce has the world’s #1 CRM which will take our sales performance to the next level. But it is more than that. Salesforce offers a complete platform of native and partner solutions that allow us to cover the complete end-to-end process.
Integrations on the Salesforce platform
With Salesforce we can build a tailor made ecosystem of best of breed technology. A good example is Bullhorn Connexys. This is an innovative, recruitment dedicated ATS with which we can effectively manage the complete recruitment process. We can streamline all workflows and processes, enable collaboration between our colleagues, work GDPR proof, and we have real time insights on jobs to be done and the current situation. This allows us to offer significant added value to our customers. At the same time we can connect with our candidates the way we want in every touch point of the candidate journey.

The good thing is, the Bullhorn Connexys ATS is built on the Salesforce Platform, just like Sales Cloud CRM and Pardot marketing automation, so we will work in one environment. This gives us the advantage of working with the same data and having a 360° view on both customer and candidates.” And it doesn’t stop there.
Developing unique assessment technology
Tjibbe: “Since the start in 2007, we gathered an enormous amount of data on candidate and customer profiles. Information about qualities, personality, motives, behavior and other patterns that enable predictive hiring and making better matches. Based on that knowledge, we are now developing our own advising and assessment tooling. With this technology we offer candidates practical tips and insights to help them craft their own career path. And we offer employers valuable 360° information on candidates, so they can make better matches.
We’re now researching the possibilities of integrating our own solutions with the Salesforce platform. This looks very promising. Because of the open-API-character of the platform we can develop our own tooling on Salesforce. Our data is now managed in different places. Being able to combine that would unlock invaluable insights covering the complete end-to-end process.”

Why Talent Peaks?
Sales and recruitment are JMG’s core processes, so it was key to choose the right supplier with the best fit tooling, but also an implementation partner that understands their business. JMG carried out a thorough selection procedure evaluating different suppliers and different solutions.

The Salesforce platform offers a wide variety of apps that can be integrated in our tooling. Talent Peaks capably guided us in selecting which add-ons are opportune for our line of business. This is, for example, how we learned about Whatfix, a great app that facilitates training and user adoption.

As a Salesforce implementation partner, Talent Peaks guided JMG in the introduction of the new solution. In the project, Talent Peaks consultants and stakeholders from JMG worked together as a team. Tjibbe: “We started with a design phase, in which Talent Peaks challenged us to think about our current end-to-end processes of both marketing, sales and recruitment.
This helped us get a clear view on how our teams operate and were we can reinforce and learn from each other. Next, we painted the ideal to-be situation. For this, Talent Peaks set out a clear framework. Thanks to their experience with both technology and the recruitment industry they always created a perfect balance between thinking big and remaining practical with hands-on advice. They regularly checked if everyone was still on the same page, leaving room for debate, but always keeping their eyes on the ball.”
The design phase was used to create a validated backlog which serves as the basis for creating the project plan for the actual implementation.

The first implementation phase will include both the Bullhorn Connexys ATS and Salesforce Sales Cloud. Tjibbe: We’re also looking the best way to blend process management, Einstein analytics, dashboarding and reporting and other solutions on the Salesforce platform.
