Simon in one word: Curious!
Talent Peaks keeps growing faster than ever! This month we proudly welcome our new colleague Simon Ronnes. Simon is the most recent asset to our team of implementation specialists. He started this challenging job while, at the same time, he’s still working on the final touches for his graduation. Could you imagine a better way to kick off your professional career? Let’s introduce Simon, so we all can get to know him better.
What will be your main focus at Talent Peaks?
“My first and foremost focus will be developing the client’s digital transformation and, of course, constantly developing myself. I believe that with the right digital environment that is in line with the company’s mission statement and company culture, a company can flourish and so can it’s people. I always work from a people oriented mindset and let that be leading in the decisions I make.”
Can you tell us something about your background?
“I am currently finishing my thesis for a masters degree in Organizational Psychology. In the last couple of years, I have found out that I have a bit of a crush on data and predictive analytics. So in time, after I’ve mastered Salesforce, I will shift my focus to organizing, operationalizing and analyzing data and making the most of what we can learn from it. For example, data can tell us a lot about what marketing technique has most value or even if certain techniques have a different effects within different target groups. A company can then use their marketing budget much more effectively which would result in a bigger budget for other important things, perhaps a “Fridayafternoondrinks”-budget, which is good for everyone ;).”
What will you bring Talent Peaks?
“Curiosity and enthusiasm, but I noticed that is already very much present within Talent Peaks! I think I can also bring a different look on organizations and on how certain processes are organized. One might say I have a bit of a meddling nature and I can never help myself but to ask questions about why things are done the way they are done.”
Tell us one thing we really need to know about you?
“I listen to a lot of podcasts and as a consequence, I do not know a lot about current top-40 music. For example: I didn’t know Post Malone existed until about two weeks ago. Something else I like to do is building things in and around the house. A Do-It-Yourself-project is something I will gladly invest my free time in.”
And your motto is?
“I’m not one for mottos, so this is a difficult one. If I would have to think of one it would be: “A lesson a day, keeps boredom away.” I picked that because I think part of what makes life worth living is enriching yourself in an intellectual way. And to pass that on to the people around you, as they will pass their wisdom to you. I feel like Talent Peaks is the perfect environment for me, because we always looking for new ways to innovate, develop and inspire ourselves, our clients and each other.”
Great to have you on board, Simon. We are looking forward to seeing what your love for building and constructing and your crush for data and predictive analytics will have in store for us and our customers. We are confident that you will be an added value for the team. Have fun!
